Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer
Jim Connell is Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer. In this role, Jim is responsible for leading the company’s coordinated commercial efforts, including the development of strategic plans that enable growth into key geographic markets and emerging segments, as well as enterprise-wide organic growth.
Since joining Centuri in 2006, Jim has held several roles in leadership with a focus on customers, operations, support services, and business strategy. Most recently he served as President of Centuri Gas Infrastructure Services Gas Group and prior held the role of EVP, Chief Customer Officer. Prior to Centuri, Jim worked at Deere & Company in the Worldwide Construction and Forestry Division.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Systems Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign. He is a board member of the National Safety Council and is an active member of the Phoenix community and committed supporter of several charities supporting children and families, including Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation where he serves on the Gastroenterology Advisory Board and co – founder and board member of the Fore Griffin Foundation.
