Paul M. Daily

Paul is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Centuri Group, Inc. (centuri.com), a market-leading electric and gas utility infrastructure services company that serves investor-owned utilities throughout the United States and Canada.  Consisting of 8 operating companies and over 13,000 employees located in 43 States and 2 Canadian provinces, Centuri’s highly skilled, double-breasted workforce provides infrastructure services to blue-chip electric and gas utilities representing over 100 million customers across 75+ locations across North America.

Paul was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Centuri Group, Inc. (“Centuri”) by Southwest Gas Corporation (NYSE: SWX) on April 18, 2016. Since then, under Paul’s leadership, Centuri has nearly tripled in size, growing from $1 billion in annual revenue to nearly $3 billion, both through organic growth and several strategic acquisitions, creating a dedicated platform to support utility infrastructure investment while advancing energy transition.

Paul has more than 35 years of experience, both domestic and international, in senior leadership of infrastructure engineering and construction companies, much of which has been focused on the natural gas and electric power industries. Most recently prior to Centuri, he founded Paul M. Daily & Associates in 2014 serving as an advisor to senior executives and to private equity investors and Boards of Directors in long-term planning and assessment of growth and diversification opportunities, both organic and through mergers and acquisitions.  Prior to that, Paul was co-founder, Director, and CEO of Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, LLC, (“IEA”), a group of operating companies providing infrastructure design and construction services to North American energy clients while also serving as a Director on the Board of Remedial Construction Services, L.P. IEA went public in 2018 (Nasdaq: IEA) and was acquired by MasTec  (NYSE: MTZ) in October 2022.  He has also held the positions of CEO for InfraSource Underground Services, Executive Vice President for Quanta’s Natural Gas & Pipeline Division, Senior Vice President of Construction and Project Delivery for Earth Tech, Inc., and numerous positions of increasing responsibility at Willbros Group, Inc.

Paul graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and an area of concentration in international economics. He spent the first nine years of his career with the United States Army as a commissioned officer, managing petroleum and water logistics for the U.S. Department of Defense.
