Project Overview
In 2021, as part of a New Jersey clean energy project, we partnered with our client to construct a biosolids gasification plant at an existing sludge processing facility near the city of Linden. The plant serves and benefits the most populous urban area in the country: the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. While providing the lowest cost option for biosolids disposal, the state-of-the-art plant diverts 130,000 tons of biosolids from landfills annually, capturing methane that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere and producing beneficial biochar byproduct.

Our team provided a full spectrum of support throughout the project, supplying turnkey mechanical, electrical, and heavy civil services. In addition to delivering all construction services, we provided comprehensive project management, supplied major equipment, and contributed value engineering.
