Project Overview
In 2023, our client in the Hudson River Valley of New York contracted our team to add a third transformer bank to their 345/115kV Wood Street Substation in Mahopac. The new transformer operates in parallel with the two existing transformers, and underground cables would be run to connect both the new 115kV bay and the 115kV low side of the transformer to the 115kV yard.
