Our efforts to create a diverse and welcoming workplace for all individuals are rooted in actively engaging employees, listening to their feedback, and continually learning. One way we do this is through our Employee Resource Groups, which help support employees’ personal and professional goals, while advancing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive company culture. These four employee-led ERGs are open to all Centuri employees and offer spaces for connection, empowerment, and community building.

Inspiring Futures: The Centuri Scholarship Program

As part of our commitment to provide opportunities for employees and their families, Centuri established a college scholarship program in 2020, showcasing our beliefs in opportunity, empowerment, and giving back, with direct financial support for our team members. Our scholarship is designed to support the educational aims of employees’ children pursuing vocational, technical, or traditional career pathways. Scholarship recipients represent the diversity of our workforce, with no fewer than 50% of scholarships awarded to applicants from diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds. Each year, we award 10 scholarships valued at $5,000 each to individuals demonstrating academic excellence and a commitment to making an impact. To date, we have awarded $225,000 in scholarships to the children of company employees.

Employees Supporting Each Other – Centuri’s Employee Care Fund

Centuri’s Employee Care Fund helps employees who are suffering financial hardship due to unpredictable circumstances such as natural disasters, serious injuries, or catastrophic events that impact their ability to afford basic living expenses. The Fund is supported by employee donations and administered by a third-party 501(c)(3) charitable organization who evaluates applications for assistance and pays out directly to service providers on behalf of eligible employees. Approved assistance is granted as a gift that does not have to be repaid. In 2024, the fund provided $556,991 in financial aid since its inception.
